The event “One City Summit” will be hosted by Mayor Vincent Gray, who is calling all District residents to join him in identifying priorities for the future and creating a Washington, DC that is truly “One City”undefinedmore livable, vibrant, and inclusive for everyone. It will be held on Saturday, February 11th from 9:30AM- 4:00PM at the Washington Convention Center. Our office is currently seeking your active participation in the summit, as it will be a great opportunity for you to hear and voice your own opinions on how to make DC the best city it can be.

For more details and registration, please visit http://onecitysummit.dc.gov/.

We also need volunteers to help usher, facilitate group discussions, take notes, and interpret. Volunteers fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Korean are desirable, but we need non-bilingual volunteers for logistical help as well. There will be an orientation for all volunteers, and community service hours will be given to those who need them. Lunch will be provided.

If you or anyone else in your organization is interested, please contact me or Ngoc Trinh at ngoc.trinh@dc.gov or 202-727-9883. Please also feel free to forward this message to other groups and your friends.
