About the session:
Do you plan to retire from the position you’re in now? If not, then at some point in the future we predict you will be searching for a new job. So, when was the last time you took a good look at your resume?

An effective resume is one of the most important things that will get you an interview. Affinity groups in USDA, including The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) USDA chapter, Blacks in Government (BIG), and Special Emphasis Program Managers (SEMPs) are invited to join us for a resume writing workshop. This workshop is also open to all USDA employees nationwide.

You will learn about:
  • What does your resume say about you?
  • The elements of federal resumes vs. resumes for the private sector
  • What do recruiters look for?
  • Answers to your questions about all things related to resumes
