Public Short Bio
Robert M. Baggett is the Special Agent-in-Charge for USDA OIG's Investigations Liaison and Special Operations Division. As a proven servant leader with more than 24 years of public service, he has held various positions with local, state, and Federal government agencies to include the State Department's Foreign Service where he has served in China, Vietnam, and Iraq. As an educator, Robert has created and employed enterprise professional development programs that focused on enhancing employee performance through specialized training, mentoring, and coaching.
As a founding member and the first President of the FAPAC NORCAL Chapter, Robert served two terms before being elected Region 4 Director for FAPAC’s NBOD. After his term as Region 4 Director (2020-2022), he was elected as the National Vice President of the organization for the 2022-2024 term. In 2017, he was the recipient of the FAPAC Outstanding Individual Leadership Award (GS-13 – GS-15 Cohort), which was awarded for demonstrating bold leadership and innovative ways in promoting EEO, Affirmative Action, and Diversity, specifically for his work in U.S. Mission Vietnam where he also served as the Mission’s EEO Counselor.
Robert possesses graduate degrees in Law, Public Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, Criminal Justice, and Strategic Studies. Robert is also a Senior Service College Graduate of the U.S. Army War College.
