Public Short Bio
Danielle Cloos is a public health professional and global health advocate. Ms. Cloos has served on humanitarian crises missions across the globe since 1999, spending her earliest years in Cebu, Philippines. With over 8 years of experience spanning government, higher education, and emergency management, Ms. Cloos currently serves as a Budget Analyst at the Federal Emergency Management Agency within the Office of Resilience, overseeing a complex budget exceeding $3.7B. During disaster deployments, she acts as a Division Supervisor for the Operations Cadre, most recently serving as the Critical Infrastructure Branch Director for Maui Wildfire recovery efforts in Hawaii. Ms. Cloos also serves as the Public Relations Chair for FAPAC, contributing as a member and volunteer since 2019. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, cultural anthropology, and customer service, she holds a BSc in Exercise Science and a Master of Public Health degree in Global Health. Originally from North Carolina, Danielle is now based in the Washington, DC area and has professional experience in Australia as well.
