Hear from the Partnership for Public Service's Center for Presidential Transition for an overview of the transition process and best practices to prepare yourself for the upcoming Presidential administration change.

Speakers:

    Tina Sung, Vice President

    Partnership for Public Service, Federal Executive Networks

    Tina Sung convenes and champions government leaders at the highest levels of the executive branch to maximize their impact and success in government. A multi-sector executive leader with a track record of innovation and accomplishment in every phase of her professional career, Tina founded and served as president of Synergy Works LLC, which provides strategy and performance improvement consulting services to the federal government, state and local governments, NGOs, and Fortune 500 companies. She also founded a second company, Experience Matters: the Executive Transition Experts, helping senior executives facing reorganization, a new job, or retirement transition smoothly to the next stage of their lives.

    Tina graduated cum laude from Princeton University. She later completed Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Program for Senior Managers and the Federal Executive Institute’s Leadership and Management Program. She was also a participant in the President’s Executive Exchange Program sponsored by the White House.

    Jaqlyn Alderete, Associate

    Partnership for Public Service, Center for Presidential Transition 

    Jaqlyn Alderete provides support to the Partnership’s presidential transition efforts. Her passion for public service began when she interned for her hometown Congressman’s district office in El Paso, Texas. This experience allowed her to learn about the services a Member of Congress can provide to their constituents in addition to passing bills on Capitol Hill and led her to develop an appreciate for the role Congress plays in making sure the American people are well represented and heard. Her favorite public servant is former first lady Michelle Obama.

    FAPAC is a 501 (c)(3) nonpartisan, nonprofit organization representing the civilian and military Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) employees in the Federal and District of Columbia governments.
