Pathways Student Interns - APHIS/USDA

On February 5, APHIS announced 13 Pathways Student Intern positions on USAJOBS as part of the Agency’s Intern Career Development Program. Announcements close on February 12, 2018.

The APHIS Intern Career Development Program is a relatively new Agency-wide initiative aimed at attracting high performers, helping them to develop professional skills, and preparing them for possible permanent placement once they graduate. Outside of their job responsibilities, the selected students will participate in training and other activities designed to expose them to APHIS’ exciting and broad mission and inclusive culture and to develop key skills needed to be a successful APHIS employee. 


To be eligible for a position, students must be able to attend school and physically report to their duty station on a full or part time (at least 16 hours a week) schedule year-round.
