FY2020 Committee Chairs Appointment Announcement

Dear FAPAC Members:

On behalf of the National Board of Directors, I am very excited to announce the selections of all the FAPAC 2020 Standing and Ad Hoc Committee Chairs in accordance with the FAPAC Bylaws, Article IV, as presented and strongly recommended by the Vice President of Operations, Ms. Fahmida Chhipa.

On October 1, 2019, marks my 3rd year anniversary as the President of FAPAC.  Thank you for your continuous support and encouragement over the past three years. I have learned a lot from the FAPAC volunteers who are dedicated, committed and hardworking team, and to our most generous sponsors and partners who inspire me to do more. Thank you!

I am very proud of all the progress we have made over the past three years as an organization: launched the Five Year 2017 FAPAC Strategic Plan, introduced a pilot program, 2017 FAPAC Leadership Shadowing Program, having official FAPAC office, a location where our volunteers can go to work; participating with the Combine Federal Campaign (CFC); a new look for our website, having seventeen Chapters across the nations,  held 2019 National Leadership Training Program (NLTP) in Huntsville AL, hosted by NASA, just to mention few initiatives and progress.

I also want to bring attention to our upcoming 35th Anniversary, which focused on equality initiatives and programming.  The theme this year is “Unite our Nations by Empowering Equality”.  While we have taken numerous initiatives and partnerships, the NLTP is not just providing training, we ensure our AAPI community thrives and that issues of equality, career development and education are not only elevated through conversation, but addressed through sustainable programs with long term impact for our members.  FAPAC is dedicated to providing students and veterans the resources they need not only to access and succeed in higher education, but to make a successful transition to a new career.

Each year that FAPAC has been in existence has brought new accomplishments and each year new goals are set for greater achievements.  This year, we have new Team Leaders and our agenda is very aggressive and ambitious, we have a lot of work ahead of us, but with everyone’s support we can be successful!  I look forward to sharing what we have in store over the next twelve months, in collaboration with our sponsors and community partners throughout the country.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FAPAC Committee Chairs!
