FAPAC Elections for 2020-2022 National Board of Directors (NBOD)

Serving on the FAPAC National Board of Directors (NBOD) is an opportunity to join other dedicated volunteers in directly contributing to the success of FAPAC's mission. The leadership and expertise of the elected Officers can help build FAPAC's membership, establish long lasting procedures, implement strategies, and achieve goals to increase diversity and inclusion in the federal workplace.

According to the FAPAC Constitution and Bylaws (C&B), FAPAC Officers, Regional Directors, and Auditor are elected every two years by electronic vote. These elected positions are for a two-year (24 month) term starting October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2022.

FAPAC invites eligible members to vote for the future FAPAC officers for the 2020-2022 term until September 19, 2020 at 11:59 pm Eastern.

Elections Timeline:

  1. Voting begins August 29, 2020 - September 19, 2020 11:59 pm (EDT)
  2. Vote Audit on September 20, 2020
  3. Election results announced September 21, 2020
  4. Officers Installation in October 2020 (details TBA)

Candidates for the 2020-2022 FAPAC National Board of Directors:

President

Vice President

Vice President of Operations

Vice President of Financial Management

Vice President of Technology and Media Communications

Executive Secretary

Treasurer

Auditor

Regional Director, Region 3 (South)

  • Ms. Lien Moore, NASA

Regional Director, Region 4 (West)

Eligibility of Voters:

  1.  Eligible voters must be active, dues paying members (Regular/Associate or Annual/Lifetime Membership) for the last six (6) months prior to the election. Membership fees must have been paid by February 1, 2020.
  2. Eligible voters for Regional Directors (RD) must be officers of local chapters in the respective RD’s regions. Eligible votes must be active, dues paying members (Regular/Associate or Annual/Lifetime Membership) for the last six (6) months prior to the election. Membership fees must have been paid by February 1, 2020.

Eligibility of Candidates:

  1. Eligible candidates for Officer and Auditor positions must be active, dues paying members (Regular/Associate or Annual/Lifetime Membership) for the last twelve (12) months prior to the election. Membership fees must have been paid by September 1, 2019.
  2. Article VIII Section 1 in the C&B, excludes the former or current NBOD officers who have reached the limit of two consecutive terms in the same position.
  3. Eligible Candidates for Region Directors must be the current Chapter Officers in their respective region.
