Let us take a moment to savor the autumnal beauty of the season and our great prosperity as we enjoy our families, food and the fun of being together for Thanksgiving. As we prepare to sit down at a table laden with turkey, pumpkin, corn, cranberries and perhaps nappa cabbage, radish, rice, and noodles, it is important for us to remember that the holiday is more than just a festive meal. It is a time when we come together to count our blessings and be grateful for those blessings. How fortunate we are to have our health and be able to sit down together with loved ones for a meal that is historic and symbolic of the bounty of our land.

Many of us enjoy both the culture of this country and the rich heritage of our native homelands -- over 30 distinct groups from Asian and Pacific regions. We can celebrate the duality of the past and present while having hope of brighter futures. Whatever the circumstances that brought us to this great country, we are grateful to be its humble civil servants. As federal employees, we are honored to serve our country and move our government forward.

FAPAC members are the priceless keys to FAPAC's success. I am truly grateful to having all of you in FAPAC, and I look forward to us working together to make FAPAC an even better organization.

Thank you for all your support. On behalf of the FAPAC National Board of Directors, let me wish you, your families, and friends a very happy Thanksgiving!

    Thank you,

    Olivia F. Adrian
    President
Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC)

Veterans Day is a day to celebrate our country and remember those who represent our ideals and fought for our freedoms. Every year, we set aside time on Veterans Day to honor all the men and women who have served our country in uniform.  We celebrate veterans from generations past and we welcome a new generation of veterans, some of whom are just returning home after serving abroad.  We also thank our future veterans - those who are still serving in the armed forces.

To all our veterans – thank you!  Thank you for everything you’ve done for our country.

    Happy Veterans Day!
