WASHINGTON DC – The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC), the premier organization representing Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) employees in the Federal and District of Columbia governments, congratulates recipients of the 2014 FAPAC Civilian Awards.

The awards will be given at the 29th FAPAC National Leadership Training Program May 5 - 9, 2014 at the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, Charlotte, North Carolina. The program is approved by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) as appropriate for training for federal employees. With its members representing all the major federal agencies it is the largest training program of its kind catering to AAPI employees, both military and civilian, throughout the Federal government.  It is also a place where more than 30 corporations and federal agencies have exhibits with information on their programs for recruitment and outreach.

FAPAC is organized exclusively for educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. FAPAC is a non-profit, non-partisan organization representing the interests of over 155,000 civilian and military APA employees in the Federal and District of Columbia governments.
