CIVILIAN AWARDS

The Civilian Awards recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of AAPI communities and promote diversity and inclusion among the Federal and District of Columbia government workforces.

UNIFORMED SERVICES AWARDS

The Uniformed Services Awards recognize and honor members of the armed forces, Public Health Service commissioned corps, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration commission corps.

DISTINGUISHED PUBLIC SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP

Since 2013, FAPAC has awarded scholarships to Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students who are interested in public service, exhibit academic excellence, and demonstrate a continuous effort to foster diversity and inclusion in AAPI communities. The $5,000 scholarship is presented in honor of AAPI leaders whose dedication and efforts in public service have opened doors for many others. The 2020 scholarship is named in honor of Former Secretary Norman Y. Mineta and will be presented during the FAPAC National Leadership Training Program on May 14, 2020 in Leesburg, VA.

FAPAC is a 501 (c)(3) nonpartisan, nonprofit organization representing the civilian and military Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) employees in the Federal and District of Columbia governments.
