Uniformed Services Awards

Purpose:  
The Uniformed Services Awards recognize and honor members of the armed forces, Public Health Service commissioned corps, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration commission corps.

Distinguished Public Service Scholarship Award

The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) Endowment Fund is proud to offer the Distinguished Public Service Scholarship. Since 2013, FAPAC has awarded scholarships to AAPI college students who exhibit excellent academic achievement and demonstrate a continuous effort to foster diversity and community service to AAPI communities. Since 2013, the scholarship is presented in honor of three successful AAPI leaders in public service on a rotating basis: Secretary Elaine L. Chao, former Secretary Norman Y. Mineta, and the late Congressman Dalip Singh Saund. The awardee will receive a stipend of $5,000 toward his or her education during the virtual FAPAC National Leadership Training Program from May 25-27, 2021.
