The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) Design and Marketing Intern is to work with the Community Outreach Committee in conjunction with the Public Relations Committee, the Program Committee and the Webmaster Committee as applicable. The intern will assist with the development and implementation of programs, and be a collaborative member of a small, yet agile committee.

The intern will work closely with the team to generate plans to creatively market upcoming programs across the FAPAC organization to
reach a wide array of FAPAC members and students/recent graduates to attend FAPAC programs.

Projects may include: Updating the website, assisting the Public Relations Committee, the Webmaster Committee or the Program Committee as needed, developing relevant content to promote programs such as the National Leadership Program – Student Event, design marketing materials, help with planning the annual career fair, and other duties as assigned by the Community Outreach Committee Chair and guided by the Program Committee Chair, the Public Relations Committee Chair or the Webmaster Committee Chair depending on the assigned tasks. The intern is to be provided guidance at all times in order to ensure a positive experience.

Training and special skills (preferred):

FAPAC is a 501 (c)(3) nonpartisan, nonprofit organization representing the civilian and military Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) employees in the Federal and District of Columbia governments.
